Tanzania Tours

Aside from the adventures of a safari, Tanzania has several other opportunities to explore the country. Hot Air Balloon rides, canoeing, and historical tours are all available throughout the year.
Tanzania Tours:
Tea Tour: A tea farmer will show you the ins and outs of the trade and showoff the beautiful views of the land and small local villages. To top it off, you’ll get a tour of the local tea factory.
Daraja La Mungu: Known as the “Bridge of God,” a rock formation that formed millions of years ago over the Kiwira River is a beautiful area for a hike. There is also a resident traditional healer in Lugombo that you can visit prior to your adventure.
Kaparogwe Falls: Not only will you see the cascading waterfall, but also German-made hanging bridge. On your way there, you will also see the rural village of Isuba.
Lake Masoko: A swimming pool made of a crater, how’s that sound? This area is great for swimming, camping, or a picnic.
Tours in Zanzibar:
Spice Tour: Cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, and safran have created a lasting impression on the island of Zanzibar. A day tour exploring how the spices are made, the uses in cosmetics and cooking, as well as a meal prepared with some of the spices from the tour are included.
Dolphin Tour: Just a quick boat ride away of the southern coast, visitors can partake in an afternoon swimming with dolphins. Bottle-nosed and Humpback dolphins can be seen off the coast of the Kizimkazi fishing village which also boasts some unique architecture.
Historical City Tour: Stone Town has been a multi-cultural hub for a century. Not only will you be able to see a variety of styles of architecture, several gift shops, and craft markets but you will also learn about the town’s rich history.
Jozani Forest Tour: Guided walking tours are available in Tanzania’s only and oldest national park. Animals such as the Zanzibar leopard and Skye’s monkey can be seen on one of the nature trails.
West Coast Tour: Explore Mwangapwani Beach where you can crawl into slave caves and underground tunnels or simply enjoy the beach. You can also here stories of sultan palaces and princesses from faraway lands.
